I found this article very interesting for many reasons. First off, this article sparked me because I have an interest in journalism and this article has the subject of writers covering the story of 3 yr. old Marten Kudlis who was killed from an illegal immigrant who crashed his car into an Aurora Ice Cream store. I thought that this was very sad. At first when i saw the title of this artcile was i was very confused considering i have never even heard of tweeting. After hearing about this loss they asked to attend this young boys funeral, but instead of actually being at the funeral, a reporter sent live updates about the funeral throught text using a system called twitter. This got many negative reactions but John Temple, the editor of Rocky Mountain News defnds by saying that because most could not actually make it to the funeral but that didnt mean that they didn't have sympathy for the family. Also, considering the was than Maretn died, his loss was felt by thousands! He also says that Tweeting is a for people to get updates more recently insread of waiting to read it in the nest mornings paper which many enjoy.
